Get ready for an unforgettable evening! Flamenco Pittsburgh presents Duende: A Flamenco Journey.
The organization’s first tablao of its second season, this spectacular performance will feature the Flamenco Pittsburgh ensemble, dancer Edwin Aparicio (Washington, D.C), guitarist Ricardo Marlow (Washington, D.C.), and singer Alfonso Cid (New York, NY).
Duende is a must-know term in the flamenco lexicon. At the core of its meaning, duende is the spirit, or essence, that flamenco artists exude while performing. Flamenco artists that have duende are ones that have vast experiences in life and in art; their artistic journeys are long.
