Artist Talk with Josh Raiffe

Josh Raiffe, Maker of Blown Handbags at Pittsburgh Glass Center

Artist Lecture: Thursday, November 20 at 6pm

Meet PGC resident artist Josh Raiffe, designer of fashionable, functional, and not-so fragile glass handbags. He is a Brooklyn-based professional artist, known for his original hand-blown glass bags that blur the line between fashion and sculpture. His work gained popularity after one of his creations was featured in Coperni’s runway show during Paris Fashion Week 2022, modeled by Gigi Hadid. Many celebrities since have been spotted sporting Raiffe’s creations, including Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, JT, Winnie Harlow, and Doja Cat.
