On April 17, Brew House Arts celebrates the opening of On the Edge Of, the 2025 Distillery Residency Exhibition.
In this year’s Distillery exhibition, the artists all put themselves on the edge—inhabiting and embodying positions of discomfort or instability in order to explore the difficulties inherent in creative practice. Drawing on their personal experiences, the artists are making work that celebrates their strengths by embracing their vulnerabilities, fears, and anxieties.
This year’s Artists-in-Residence are Alli Lemon, Karen Lue, Shyann Maragh, Mathias Rushin, Lisa Toboz, Ajunie Virk, and London Williams.
On the Edge Of will be on view April 17-June 7, 2025, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 17 from 6-8:30 pm. The reception is open to the public and free to attend. Mark your calendars and see you there!
