Now entering its 16th year, Distillery is a year-long studio residency designed to help seven emerging artists transition into a sustainable artistic career. Distillery teaches artists how to integrate a professional art-making practice into daily living by supporting a rigorous studio practice and providing professional development opportunities in a creative and affordable environment.

Resonance Works’ 2024-2025 season continues with Dwell Together, a a major choral-orchestral program featuring lauded mezzo-soprano Lucia Bradford, star of our recentproduction of The Little Prince, Victory Brinker, the Resonance Chamber Orchestra, and the Reson8 Vocal Octet, joining forces with an expanded chorus. Dwell Together highlights poignant and timely music by American composers, spotlighting three major works that interpret ancient forms and timeless texts through a contemporary American lens.

Contemporary Craft has purchased the former Hunter Saw Building (now known as the Contemporary Craft Timmons Studios), right across the street from their existing location at 5688 Butler Street.
This additional building doubles Contemporary Craft’s footprint, and enables Contemporary Craft to dramatically grow their program offerings across the two buildings.

From over 30 applicants four artists were selected to create works inspired by Maxo Vanka’s murals. These commissions, exclusively for BIPOC and/or Immigrant artists, launched in 2021, brings contemporary perspectives to themes like justice, injustice, the immigrant experience, and motherhood.
